Currently, the only successful film running at the box office to face a degree of loss is none other than #2PointO. And the film has no big competition at Telugu box office until the likes of Antariksham and Padi Padi Leche Manasu arrives. But here is the twist.
Other day, being a Wednesday, none would have expected any other film to do well. Surprisingly at some local single screens in Hyderabad city, one adult comedy is giving a big shocker to all the films up and running. It is none other than the zero hyped “Husharu” movie that is showing stars to biggies.
While #2PointO collected nearly 10,000 rupees for the second show, other films like Kavacham, Taxiwala, and Odiyan collected below 4000 rupees. But the shocker is, Hushara collected 39000+ from the second show alone. That is surely a prick under the seat for biggies, because it proves that a section of the audiences is still loving adult content but not well-crafted films.
Husharu has tonnes of adult content stuff with double entendre dialogues, jokes and lots of glamour. Maybe the other big films also lost their sheen at the box office and hence this unexpected push to a small comedy movie.
