Media wrote a lot about mistimed release of Nithin’s hit film Bheeshma. Although the film turned out to be a success, media and even trade opined that it could have done much better had it released during summer. However, the timing of Bheeshma release turned out to be a boon for Nithin.
Bheeshma would have been stuck along with other movies that are currently clueless of when they would hit the theaters if it hadn’t released in February.
The makers and Nithin took the gamble and released it just before the examination period. They might have lost a few crores because of releasing it in off season, but they are so lucky to escape the coronavirus crisis.
Meanwhile, movies like V, Uppena, Red, Most Eligible Bachelor, Sreekaram, Solo Brathuke So Better, Nissabdham and many others are waiting for theatrical release.
There are numerous doubts on how the market would be in the coming days as it would take some months for any business to recover from this crisis.
