If Telugu people love a particular film, they will put all the money on it. It was proved time and again. Last year, it was “F2” and before that, we had seen similar euphoria with “Geetha Govindam”.
The throne has now passed on to “Ala Vaikunthapurramloo”. The movie is continuing to create tremors at the box-office.
Even a day after the end of Sankranthi holidays, the film could rake in nearly Rs 2 crore share in Nizam. This alone proves how much people have showered their love on this family entertainer.
The film was sold in Nizam for Rs 18 Cr on a Non-Recoverable Advance (NRA) basis. The collection from this region so far is Rs 29 crore.
The Vizag region fetched Rs 15 Cr collection till now on the pre-release business of Rs 10 Cr NRA. Both these regions have collected Rs 44 crore in 9 days. The distributor Dil Raju’s 20% commission is equal to that of a movie budget of a small star.
The film is not going to slow down and it will bring in more money. If this trend continues, the film will collect more than Rs 100 crore from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states alone.
