It is known that the TRS government is determined to give a tough time to the center as they have been in no good ties with the BJP these days and are opposing every decision too by the center. Earlier KCR vowed to oppose the new electricity bill to be introduced in the parliament sessions and he has decided not to back off at any cost.
Now, finance minister of Telangana, Harish Rao said the same in front of the whole assembly. Harish Rao asserted that no one would abide by the restrictions imposed by the center on FRBM rise. Rao made key remarks during the introduction of the Fiscal Responsibility and Budget Management Amendment Bill in the Assembly.
Telangana Finance minister reminded that Telangana is ranked 28th in the list of debts and said that they are borrowing debts with great responsibility and he made it clear that they are bringing debts in the interests of the state. He reminded that Telangana has achieved a growth rate unmatched by any other state in the country. Suicides have dropped to minus 45 percent.
Now, many people started comparing AP CM YS Jagan’s stand towards the center with the Telangana government. Even the YSRCP cadre opine that it has been too late and their supremo shock should start expressing his tone very strongly in front of the center. Telangana is an economically-developed state and compared to Andhra Pradesh they have more sources to generate revenue and KCR barely depends on the centre but that is not the case with Andhra Pradesh.
Opposition parties have been criticizing the Telangana government for incurring high debts. Even though AP CM Jagan has been criticized for the same, the loans made by the Telangana government are mainly for big projects like Kaleswaram, Mission Kakatiya. Due to them, the wealth of Telangana will increase on a large scale.
With this, the Telangana government is getting an opportunity to justify the debts and turn against the center but Jagan is spending all the money on freebies and eventually, he needs to approach the centre for more debts at the end of the day in the worst-case scenario. So, there is no way that Jagan can raise his tone against the center in the near future.
