TRS protests in Delhi: KTR to attend, KCR may skip the programme

The ruling TRS is making hectic arrangements for the two-day dharna on the issue of paddy procurement in Delhi. The party wants to ensure that the dharna gets the national attention as it is the first ever protest in Delhi from the party after the formation of Telangana state.

Party MPs have reportedly been given the task of making arrangements in Delhi. The party has already booked hotel rooms and asked the MLAs to send at least 20 persons per constituency to Delhi. The party MPs, MLAs, MLCs, corporation chairpersons, DCCB chairpersons, market yard chiefs and others have been strictly told to be present at the dharna full-time.

Several MPs, MLCs and MLAs have already reached Delhi along with their supporters. They have already made arrangements for their supporters to reach Delhi in considerable numbers. Some 1500 persons are likely to take part in the TRS-sponsored dharna in Delhi.

Meanwhile, the Central intelligence agencies have begun collecting information about those attending the meet. They have gathered details of the arrangements too. Meanwhile, TRS sources said that TRS working president KTR is likely to attend the rally in Delhi. As for Chief Minister KCR, there is no confirmation as to whether he would attend or not.
