Ruling TRS in undivided Adilabad is watching with alarm the political moves of YS Sharmila. They are worried at the unusual interest that some of the sarpanches, ZPTC and MPTC members from the district are showing in YS Sharmila’s to-be-born party.
Last Friday, Sharmila who held a meeting with the leaders from the undivided Adilabad, was pleasantly surprised at the large turnout. Several leaders made a beeline to the Lotus Pond and recalled their past association with her father and brother. What is more worrisome is that at least nine sarpanches from the ruling TRS have joined hands with Sharmila even before she has formally announced the formation of her party. Several Christian and Muslim leaders too are said to be in touch with her.
The TRS is looking at all this with lot of concern. It is already worried due to the joining of the TRS leaders into the BJP. Now, even Sharmila’s party too is putting them in a spot of bother. The TRS leaders are said to be busy identifying those who are leaning towards YS Sharmila.
