True… None Can Match Him

“I did not copy any film. But I did get inspired by films like Blind Fury, Yodha and Oppam. After watching Raja The Great, everyone will realize this,” says director Anil Ravipudi.

It is not enough to make a blind man a hero. Such stories require the right kind of research and logic in the scenes. One does not feel this in many scenes in the film. In fact, the hero seems to be more capable than one with eyes. And it is this element that works against the film.

However, the story is routine fare and if it had a hero who was not blind, it would have failed. Also, the director uses an age-old concept and simply washes off his hands.

In fact, Blind Fury was a film that was made some 30 years back. In that film, the hero also holds a sword just like the hero in this film. But the film never misses the logic. Even in films like Yodha and Oppam, the hero does a lot.

But the film made by Anil Ravipudi has no resemblance to such films.
