At a time when YSR Congress party led by chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to maintain cordial relations with the Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance government at the Centre, the BJP at the state level appears to be in a mood of confrontation.
The BJP leaders are making provocative comments against Jagan and his government in the social media, in order to run him down.
On Thursday, the BJP Andhra Pradesh unit made a sarcastic comment using folder emoticons: “Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP, 150 MLAs-22 MPs. But the “development” folder shows: file does not exist.”
Naturally, the comment has angered YSRC fans and followers. They sharply reacted to the BJP’s “folder” emoticon and shot back in the same manner: “Andhra Pradesh, BJP and Shelter for All Criminals and Bank loot fellows. And the folder showing deposits gain in 2019 assembly shows: file does not exist,” indicating that the BJP has no base in Andhra Pradesh.
Another YSRC fan tweeted with same folder emoticons: “BJP, Twitter, Tweets, Useful Tweets- File doesn’t exist.” So did another follower: “India, BJO, 303 seats, Development- file doesn’t exist.”
Ironically, TDP senior leader Gorantla Buchaiah Chowdary sought to fire at the YSRC from over the shoulders of the BJP.
Retweeting the BJP tweet, Chowdary also sought to make a satirical attack on YSRC saying: “Andhra Pradesh, YSRC, 154 MLAs, 22 MPs, Development – file doesn’t exist.”
Apparently, Chowdary added three more MLAs to YSRC kitty: Vallabhaneni Vamsi, Maddali Giridhar and Rapaka Varaprasad.
But within no time, the BJP and YSRC attacked the TDP legislator. BJP activists said: “In the past, the TDP used to paste its stickers to central schemes. Now, it is copying our tweets.”
And YSRC fans shot back saying: Hi, @naralokesh/@Gorantla_NC/@ncbn, Present and future of @JaiTDP in Ap politics #AP: “Parties, YSRC and No other parties found!
