Two More Heroes In Prabhas’s Project K

Prabhas’s long-delayed project under Nag Ashwin’s directions hit the floors recently. After launching the film in a low-key manner a few days ago, the makers had commenced the first schedule in Hyderabad. Amitabh Bachchan, who is playing a key role in the film joined the sets and he shot for a small portion. The regular shooting on this heavy duty sci-fi thriller will commence once Prabhas completes his current commitments and turns free. Meanwhile, the latest reports suggest that Project K will feature two mainstream actors in the lead roles. The makers will be initiating talks with a couple of happening young actors very soon and an official announcement will be made after they are roped in for the project.

Apparently, Nag Ashwin wants a star-studded cast for Project K. The film has scope for several supporting roles and the makers will be roping in talented and happening actors for these roles. Interestingly, the script accommodates two important characters revolving around Amitabh Bachchan, who plays a principal role in the film. The makers intend to bring on board either Telugu actors or other language actors for these roles. This particular portion will not be shot in the near future. So, the makers have more than enough time to zero in on the actors and later sign them for the project.

Project K will be one of the costliest India projects ever and it will be produced on earth shattering budget. Vyjyanthi Movies are bankrolling the project and the production got underway very recently. More details about the project will be unveiled in the next few months.

As for Prabhas, he is currently busy with Adipurush and Salaar. He wishes to complete these two projects before moving on to Nag Ashwin’s Project K. He is also awaiting the release of Radhe Shyam which will be out in theaters next Sankranthi season. He has allotted bulk dates for Nag Ashwin’s project and he will be occupied with the project for close to a year. He is placing his trust in Nag Ashwin’s directorial prowess and that is the reason why he allocated around 200 working days for the project. Pair that with shooting breaks and layoffs, Prabhas will be busy with Project K for well over a year, as mentioned above.
