The first-look poster of director Siva’s Vivegam, starring Ajith, Kajal Aggarwal and Akshara Haasan, created a frenzy on social media. There were allegations that Ajith’s chiselled body in the poster was photoshopped. However, director Siva cleared the air saying that ‘Thala’ worked hard to get into shape, and get the desired look!
Earlier, it was speculated that the film was eyeing a release on the Ramzan weekend. But now, it looks like the release has been postponed to August. A source in the know tells us, “As of now, the makers are considering August 10 or August 24 for a grand release. Since the Sivakarthikeyan–Nayanthara starrer Velaikkaran is releasing on August 25, Vivegam team might consider releasing on August 10. Also, it all depends on the completion of post-production work.”
The last schedule of Vivegam is all set to commence soon in Bulgaria in the second week of March, which will be followed by the patch-work scenes in Chennai. The team is planning to concentrate more on the post-production. A second look poster and a teaser of Vivegam will be released soon.
