Siddhu Jonnalagadda is not an established hero who has his own market. Barring ‘Guntur Talkies’ for which he did not get a lot of credit, his hit films like ‘Maa Vintha Gaadha Vinuma’ and ‘Krishna and His Leela’ were OTT releases. One would expect his upcoming film to not have a lot of crazy especially when it is hitting the big screens immediately after a Ravi Teja film.
But the situation is entirely different for ‘DJ Tillu’. This youth-oriented comedy-drama filled with a lot of romance is ready to get released on 12th February and the pre-release event was organized on Thursday. Reports suggest that the film is going to open with a very good occupancy rate. Siddhu’s movie registered 78 fast-filling sold shows in Hyderabad and the situation is almost similar in Andhra Pradesh’s states like Vizag. The numbers can be verified in the BookMyShow site.
‘DJ Tillu’ is arriving with a lot of hype thanks to its entertaining trailer. The dialogues, Siddhu’s acting and heroine’s glamour have surely raised expectations on this movie. Also, ‘DJ Tillu’ and ‘Pataas Pilla’ songs have turned into super hits which increased the overall buzz. If ‘DJ Tillu’ delivers more than half of what its trailer promised, it is going to be a super hit now that ‘Khiladi’ is getting a mixed response.
Neha Shetty who has played the leading lady while Prince Cecil, Brahmaji, Pragathi, Narra Srinivas and others play crucial roles. ‘DJ Tillu’ is directed by Vimal Krishna. Siddhu himself wrote the dialogues while the story and screenplay are given by Vimal Krishna along with Siddhu. Avinash Kolla is the art director while Sri Charan Pakala and Ram Miryala composed one song. Thaman is giving the background score while Sai Prakash is the director of photography. Suryadevara Naga Vamsi is the producer.
