Contrary to this, the Nirmala Sitharaman and Parakala Prabhakar couple stunned many by performing their daughter Vangmayi at their house. The ceremony was performed simplistically. Vangmayi tied the knot with Pratik Doshi who is from Gujarat. The wedding ceremony was performed as per the Brahmin traditions. Seers from the Admar Mutt in Udupi performed the wedding as per the traditions. The Sitharaman couple did not announce the news of their wedding. The news broke out when pictures from the ceremony were out on social media. Vangmayi is working as a feature writer for Mint Lounge’s Books and Culture section. Netizens are impressed with the wedding style and are appreciating her. They say that she would have opted for a massive wedding if she wanted. But she preferred a traditional and simple wedding.
