‘Veerayya’ Stands Second In the 1st Week Collections List!

Megastar Chiranjeevi is riding high on the success of his Sankranti winner ‘Waltair Veerayya’. This mass entertainer struck the chord with the audience and they loved the entertainment and Chiru’s comedy timing after a long time. The movie is collecting quite well at the box office and the Mega fans are very happy since the last outings of Chiru were quite disappointing.

After his comeback, Chiru did five films till date. His disaster film ‘Acharya’ did the least of all as it minted a share of 47.87 crores worldwide after completing its one week run. It just grossed 75 crores at the box office.

‘Godfather’ was slightly better as it got a share of 53.10 crores worldwide in the first week. The gross was up to 96.35 crores. Megastar’s 150th film ‘Khaidi No 150’ stands third in the list with a share of 77.32 crores after the first week. The gross collections were 111.50 crores.

‘Waltair Veerayya’ stands second in the list as the movie collection a share of 96.46 crores at the box office while the gross is 165.45 crores after the first week. The movie is still running successfully in theatres. It was ‘Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy’ which collected the most. This pan-Indian release got 115.38 crores of share after the first week.

With Chiru giving a perfect comeback, we need to wait and see if Meher Ramesh’s ‘Bholaa Shankar’ touches these levels of collections or not.
