Finally, Vijay is going to Bollywood as he signed his first Hindi movie. But this is not going to be his first one as a leading man, but he signed to play an important character in the upcoming biopic of cricketer Kapil Dev. Titled “83”, this biopic being directed by Kabir Khan narrates the story of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev and his world cup winning team in 1983. Ranveer Singh is playing the role of Kapil in this film.
Now, Vijay Devarakonda is signed to play the role of Tamil cricketer Krishnamachari Srikanth who is also part of 1983’s men-in-blue team. In real life both Kapil and Srikanth are very good friends and that makes us to wait to thunderbolt performers, Ranveer and Vijay shine in the screen together.
