Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a two day spiritual break starting today, has offered his prayers at Kedarnath temple in Uttarakhand this morning. During the 7-phase general elections, Modi has made news with his tours, speeches, meetings and now, he’s breaking the internet with a holiday too.
Post offering his prayers at temple, PM Modi has reviewed the ongoing Kedarnath Development Project with the officials there. Post that, he had trekked for 2 kms to a cave and began to mediate for the next fews – i.e till tomorrow morning. He will later visit Badrinath Temple and is scheduled to return to New Delhi by afternoon. Some of the photographs of Modi who meditating in a cave are put out by Uttarakhand BJP team and those images have called for a discussion on social media.
In the pictures released, Modi is seen sitting on a bed and sitting in a posture suitable for the meditation. He dressed himself in complete saffron clothes. While fans of Modi and BJP are awe of this activity, the pictures had also lit the internet on fire with memes.
