Long back, Rana Daggubati’s upcoming film Virata Parvam was supposed to get wrapped but due to various issues including the actor’s rumoured health concerns have kept delaying the film. Finally, it looks like the actor is wrapping the movie without any breaks and without much noise about it.
Featuring Rana and Sai Pallavi in never seen before kinds of roles, where the heroine is said to be playing the role of a Naxalite, the film is being directed by Venu Udugula of Needhi Naadhi Oke Katha fame. Recently the unit are said to have completed a major schedule of the film featuring the leading actors in the forests of Vikarabad.
The film was supposed to have Tabu playing the role of a Naxal mentor, but then award winning actress Nandita Das took her place now. And all those scenes involving Nandita, Sai Pallavi and Rana are said to have turned out terrific that audiences are in for a ride in this vintage drama that revolves around society’s inequalities and prejudices.
While Rana is waiting for the release of Aranya soon, he has movies like Virata Parvam, Gunasekhar’s mythological film Hiranyakasipa, Teja’s political drama and couple of other movies lined up.
