AP BJP state general secretary Vishnuvardhan Reddy has recently asked SEC Nimmagadda Ramesh to close the controversy about the panchayat election app.
He asked him ‘what needs to be kept secret in the case of this app? Is the election cell under supervision?’ Vishnuvardhan Reddy tweeted on Twitter that it would be better to announce whether it is ready or not.
Vishnuvardhan Reddy asked the SEC whether complaints could be sent through this app. Will you respond to complaints received through this app like the Central Electoral Commission?
Vishnuvardhan Reddy said that generally, such technology systems are run by either the National Informatics Center (NITC), which is owned by the central government or the IT department of the state government.
The ruling YCP has already criticized Nimmagadda for not disclosing the details of the app. They are alleging that Nimmagadda is bringing this app for the sake of TDP.
