Vivo has launched its latest smartphone under its Y-series — Y53i. The handset also features Ultra HD Technology for capturing detailed photos up to 32MP, as per the company. The smartphone will be available for purchase in two colour variants — Crown Gold and Matte Black.The dual-SIM Vivo Y53i features a 5-inch display. Under the hood, it is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage — expandable up to 256GB. It runs on Android Oreo.
The biggest USP of the handset is the Ultra HD feature, which the company claims that the 8MP rear camera with a LED flash can shoot multiple consecutive images and combine them to render clear photographs with a resolution as high as of an image taken by a 32MP camera. On the front, the smartphone sports a 5MP shooter with a flash.
The Vivo Y53i is fuelled by a 2500mAh battery. On the connectivity front, the smartphone includes Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, GPS, Micro-USB, and 4G VoLTE among others. The device is priced at Rs 7,990 in India.
