Former Congress MP, Vundavalli Arun Kumar, who was a staunch loyalist of former united Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Rajasekhar Reddy, has never backed down when it came to attacking Reddy’s son, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
Whether Polavaram or Amaravati, Vundavalli always made his voice and opinion heard. In the ongoing scenario too, especially with respect to the privatisation of the Visakha Steel Plant. The CM has written a letter, opposing the said privatisation, to Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Vundavalli has criticised this letter written by the CM, saying that this letter will eventually land in a dustbin because the PM would not take it as seriously.
Vundavalli even criticised the way the YSRCP and the TDP have been behaving with respect to the privatisation of the Visakha Steel Plant. He even went on to say that the CM behaved in the most unforgivable manner, with respect to the budget that was introduced recently. Vundavalli said that it was beyond appalling to see that the CM congratulate the PM on the budget, when his own party members were not satisfied with the budget.
Vundavalli said that it is sad to see that TDP and YSRCP are not bothered to take any action against the Visakha Steel Plant privatisation, when parties llike AP BJP, Jana Sena, CPI and CPI M have also come together to form an action committee against the privatisation. He said that the center will bend down only if all the political parties of AP come together and oppose the center’s decision.
