VV Vinayak cites this as a reason behind delay of ‘Seenayya’

Director VV Vinayak, who reached the top position in Tollywood with mass entertainers, had failed to hold the position and gave back-to-back flop films. Vinayak made his debut as a director with Aadi in 2002, which established Jr. NTR as a star.

After impressing us with his wide range of films as director, Vinayak has turned actor for Seenayya. Ace producer Dil Raju is the producer of Vinayak starrer ‘Seenayya’. The film was announced in 2019. The first look from Seenayya was also dropped. However, there has been no further update on the film since then.

VV Vinayak spoke about why his debut film as actor ‘Seenayya’ didn’t happen. Alludu Seenu director Vinayak said, the output of the film didn’t come as expected and hence the project didn’t materialise. Vinayak also cited ongoing Covid as a reason for the delay of his film.

On the work front, VV Vinayak is all set to enter Bollywood with the Hindi remake of Chatrapathi. Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas is playing the lead role and he will be surprising Young Rebel Star Prabhas’s role in the remake.

Talking about Bollywood debut as a director, Vinayak said, it is a new experience and he is eagerly waiting for the new journey. Jayantilal Gada is producing the film under the Pen Studios banner.
