On October 2nd, all the major tinsel towns in India are going to witness another spark as Sye Raa is going to hit cinemas. But in Bollywood, there is this unseen competition coming from Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff in the form of their ‘War’ movie.
While the film is set for a release on the same date, till date there is no clarity about it as another issue is actually troubling this multi-starrer film. As Yash Raj Film’s recent outing Thugs Of Hindostan ended up as a major disaster at the box office, distributors in the North are actually demanding Aditya Chopra to give out this ‘War’ at a cheaper rate. But with Aditya Chopra not in a mood to budge, they have all got united and not even buying the movie for now.
In case if the issue gets sorted out amicably, then Sye Raa might feel the heat at the box office because ‘War’ has perfect casting, high octane chases like Saaho and terrific visual effects along with two big stars. Though YRF is not a bankable production house like earlier where most of their films are hits, that doesn’t mean they are not reliable.
Speaking about the same, other day Sye Raa’s prime distributor Anil Thadani and Bollywood producer Ritesh Sidwani confirmed that there are almost 5000 screens in the north for Hindi films and there will be no shortage of theatres for Sye Raa whoever maybe the competition.
