We need to change our attitude to beat coronavirus: Teja

Director Teja seems to be appalled by the state of affairs in the country and he had a thing or two to say about the attitude of the people adding to the misery.
With cases of coronavirus increasing day by day in the country and relaxations from lockdown given during #Unlock1, things seem in a dire situation. Talking about how our laidback attitude lies at the core of the issue here, the director says, “Keeping in mind our attitude and the seriousness with which we seem to deal with corona, I personally believe cases will go up to lakhs per day, let along thousands. I also believe India will soon become the worst hit country if this continues.”
Adding that the issue lies at people believing they’re somehow immune from the virus, he says, “Everyone who heads out somehow seems to believe that no one around them will ever have the virus – not their friends, or family or even the person they’re buying groceries from. We can only beat the pandemic if you take responsibility and believe that people around you will have the virus and you might turn carrier, spreading it to your loved ones.” He adds, “Sanitisation is key, be it yourself or the objects around you. Take some time out to do it whenever you head home from outside. If we want to change things, we need to take matters into our own hands

When the pandemic hit and lockdown begun, Teja had enrolled himself in an online course about emerging respiratory diseases with the World Health Organisation (WHO).
