Advance booking trends will give the clear picture of how much the ticket paying public is interested in catching the earliest show of an upcoming release.
Going by the advance bookings trends on online ticketing portals, Akhil Akkineni’s upcoming Friday release Mr. Majnu has been receiving lukewarm response all over.
Looks like it is the effect of Akhil’s previous failures. Mr. Majnu will need a good word of mouth to set the cash registers ringing.
Thankfully, Mr. Majnu has the advantage of solo release, but it will have to withstand the F2 blitz, which is showing no signs of slowing down.
F2 will continue to rake in moolah at least for another weekend. Mr. Majnu has a job on hands to pull audiences to the theaters in big numbers.
