Western Audiences Mistook Bromance in RRR as Gay Love story!

The much-awaited Pan-India RRR was released a few months back and it took everyone by surprise. Irrespective of where it was released, it had set the box office on fire. In the OTT release as well, the Rajamouli directorial set new records and emerged as the highest watched non-English film on Netflix.

With the OTT giant Netflix getting the rights, the western audiences watched the Pan-India film. Shockingly, the western audiences could not understand the main plot of the film, which is the friendship between the lead stars Young Tiger NTR and Mega Power Star Ram Charan Tej.

They mistook the friendship for gay romance and saw it as a gay love story. As the lead pair is seen having a steady growth in their friendship which eventually grows into a strong brotherhood, the western audiences were convinced that RRR is nothing but a Gay love story.

After watching RRR, the western audiences took to social media to share their views. Rather than highlighting the visual wonder the SS Rajamouli’s directorial offered, they are talking about the Gay love story element in the film, which is a big shock. The majority of the tweets dubbed RRR as a Gay story.

Directed by SS Rajamouli, RRR sees Young Tiger NTR and Ram Charan essaying the roles of freedom fighters Komaram Bheem and Alluri Sitarama Raju respectively. RRR stars Alia Bhatt and Olivia Morris as the female leads.
