With just a few more hours left for the results of Telangana polls, leaders cutting across political parties, film stars, business people, commoners, students, employees and people of all walks of life are holding their breaths. While there are several crucial seats to watch out for given the tug of war, but in Rangareddy district, all eyes are on Kukatpally Assembly seat.
While TDP has fielded late Nandamuri Hari Krishna’s daughter Nandamuri Suhasini from the constituency, Madhavram Krishna Rao who defected from TDP to TRS is in fray from the pink party. This fight is the one of the most looked out fights.
As the exit poll results indicating that it’s not going to be easy for Suhasini given that Madhavaram is a local candidate with considerable base in addition to ruling party’s positive voting owing to various schemes, tension is gripped in Nandamuri camp. Nandamuri fans are keeping their fingers crossed over the result of Kukatpally.
If Suhasini sails through it, it’s alright as TDP claims its strength in the constituency and Naidu takes away the credit of her victory. But what if Suhasini loses? This is the question on the lips of Nandamuri fans. Many opine that the fingers would be pointed towards NTR for shunning away from the poll campaign of his sister.
If Suhasini fails, definitely NTR would be blamed for not campaigning for his sister despite being in same town. Amidst this, NTR’s fans are a worried lot that their star would be targeted. Tarak’s fans are bundle of nerves. More than TDP’s supporters, Naidu’s fans, NTR’s fans are praying for Suhasini’s victory.
