After collecting a meager 1.5 crores share on the first day, Mahayanakudu failed to get some respite on the second day also, as it collected only 50 lakhs share from Telugu states. With some theatres not able to get the rentals, many are wondering why is the film heading to become a legendary disaster.

The scenarios are that making a biopic immediately after Savitri’s film might have not interested audiences or Balayya making the biopic would have created unwanted negativity.
