The Bharatiya Janata Party are very calculative with their moves and they don’t meet or praise people without any proper reasons. Back when Union Home Minister Amit Shah met Media Mughal Ramoji Rao and Nandamuri Scion Taraka Rama Rao aka Jr NTR the same point was raised.
Yet again this point was raised as the BJP is showing massive praise for the Undisputed king of Tollywood Megastar Chiranjeevi. It is known that Chiranjeevi was honoured with the Indian Film Personality of the Year. Reacting to this, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi congratulated him and shed light on Chiranjeevi’s acting skills.
“Congratulations to him on the occasion of being selected for the prestigious Indian Film Personality of the Year Award at the International Film Festival of India @IFFIGoa in Goa,” Prime Minister Modi tweeted in Telugu.
Someone of the stature of Narendra Modi praising Chiranjeevi started a new doubt on whether there is any political angle behind this. If there is no gain the party won’t praise anyone. Forget about praising others, the saffron party is accused of sidelining the veteran leaders like LK Advani, and Murali Manohar Joshi after coming to power.
The party which could not accommodate the veteran leaders who gave their best in developing the party suddenly praising Megastar Chiranjeevi started the doubt of whether the saffron party wants to rope in Chiranjeevi for any role in politics.
If Prime Minister Narendra Modi wants to wish Chiranjeevi on receiving the award, he can make a tweet in English. Modi tweeting in Telugu started a new doubt. However, Chiranjeevi distanced himself from politics.
