When Balayya Thanked Jagan! #ys jagan

Senior Tollywood actor and TDP MLA from Hindupur assembly constituency Nandamuri Balakrishna on Monday sprang a surprise on his party and also the ruling YSRCP for writing a thanksgiving letter to Andhra Pradesh CM Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy.

In a letter to the chief minister, perhaps the first such letter written by him, Balakrishna expressed his gratitude to the chief minister for granting a medical college in Hindupur parliamentary constituency, particularly in Hindupur assembly segment.

“The medical college will not only benefit the students of Hindupur but also those of entire Rayalaseema. It is a great opportunity for the students who want to pursue medicine course and also provide better medical care to the people of the constituency,” he said.

Balakrishna suggested to the chief minister to consider construction of the medical college at Maluguru village in Hindupur mandal on Kadiri road.

He said the revenue authorities had surveyed the area and identified 52 acres of land at this village which will be ideal for the setting up of the medical college.

“There are several government and private educational institutions in and around the area. So, it is suitable to the medical college as well. It is rightly connected with the villages and towns in Hindupur constituency and is easily approachable through road and train,” he said.

Since Hindupur town has a 250-bed district hospital with new blocks and even a Covid-19 block, it can be attached to the medical college.

“I request your good self to establish the government medical college at Maluguru village,” he said.
