When KCR can understand, Jagan too should !

The parliamentary sessions are about to begin and the whole focus of the regional parties and the opposition will be on the new electricity bill that is going to be introduced by the BJP government. Of course, the BJP-ruled states won’t have any choice but go with the new bill, the states being led by the regional parties are showing some opposition towards the NDA.

The most crucial among the two are Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The Chief Ministers of these two states are in contrast to this new electricity bill. KCR has already made it clear that he is against this new electricity bill through an open letter. He is not at all satisfied with the bill as due to the new electricity bill, farmers who receive free electricity will be burdened. Meters should be set up for their connections. The bill must be collected monthly. If governments want to bear that burden, it should be implemented through a cash transfer scheme.

Meanwhile, AP CM Jagan is in a confused state. Though this bill is not at all to the liking of the AP state farmers and his cabinet, he may have no choice but to support BJP like any other bill. Jagan is way more inclined towards BJP in every stage after he became CM and seems to have known he importance of the center’s support but definitely has no idea how long to maintain this good relationship in the wake of Somu Veerraju emergence.

However, coming to the point, KCR is very loud and clear about his stand be it for the benefits of his people or not, Jagan was left with no choice. Many believe that he will show no opposition in the parliament as no YSRCP leader really criticized the BJP’s decision even after the Antaravetdi issue. So, AP farmers and analysts say that if KCR ready to show his guts, Jagan should at least show some intent towards a firm stands for people rather than prioritizing his political benefits in the first place.
