Ceded, popularly called the home of mass audiences, is an area where heroes with mass image like Balakrishna, Megastar Chiranjeevi, Pawan Kalyan and NTR are considered demigods. Their fans often indulge in heated debates over who the real ‘Sultan of Ceded’ is. Well, after learning this latest development, most will agree that mass director Boyapati Srinu is the true king of this mass area.
As per latest reports, the Ceded rights of Boyapati’s upcoming film have been acquired for a whopping Rs 6.64 crore. It may be noted that the film doesn’t have a star in lead role but a young actor, Bellamkonda Srinivas. It is pretty evident that the distributor doled out such astronomical sum just believing in Boyapati’s ability to woo masses with enough masala. He is often called the best director when it comes to filming massy elevation scenes.
Boyapati’s last film ‘Sarrainodu’ has done unprecedented business in Ceded despite poor reviews since the mass audiences loved his massy treatment. Also starring Rakul Preet Singh, Pragya Jaiswal and a few senior actors, the untitled film is currently in production stage.
