AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu and YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy are fighting to gain upperhand in the state before the 2019 elections. As such while Jagan Mohan Reddy is trying to strengthen the party YSRCP in the minds of the people by highlighting the failures of the TDP government, TDP is trying to weaken Jagan in his own turf.
Chandra Babu Naidu is trying his best to strengthen the party in Kadapa and Anantapur. However it is comingout that more than the strength of the Jagan’s YSRCP,it is the internal rivalry of TDP which is preventing it from growing in strength.
A senior leader from the region sharing his ordeal rued “Though, I have been fighting with the Y.S. Rajasekhar Reddy family for more than two decades to strengthen the party, our own party leaders are against my hard work”, TDP had only one MLA from Rajampet and YSRCP won all the seats. It attracted two MLAs Adinarayana Reddy of Jammalamadugu and Jayaramulu of Badvel along with several secondary level leaders.
High Command made faction leaders D. Adinaryana Reddy and party in-charge Ramasubba Reddy reach a compromise after intense efforts. But even then party leaders are ignoring the sincere efforts.
