YSR Congress MLA RK Roja breathed fire on TDP Government for making hue and cry over Jagan’s behaviour while he was speaking to Collector after Diwakar Travels accident in Mullapadu, Krishna District. ‘Why didn’t either CM or Cabinet Ministers visit the accident site despite being in Vijayawada? Does they don’t have the responsibility to console the kin of the deceased and injured? Officials tried to stop Jagan from meeting the victims. Why no cases have been filed against Diwakar Travels even after 11 passengers were killed? Why AP Cabinet hasn’t passed any resolution on the compensation to be offered to the accident victims?,’ questioned the Fire Brand Leader.
The Nagari Legislator told: ‘Government tried to shift the body of the Driver without postmortem. While Doctors confirmed post-mortem wasn’t performed, Collector claimed post-mortem has been completed. That’s when Jagan intervened and sought the copy of post-mortem to foil the conspiracy to change the report. Neither Collector nor Hospital Superintendent were comfortable when Jagan sought post-mortem report. That shows injustice is being done to the victims’.
On the other hand, Roja alleges TDP MLA Anitha believes she could bag the desired post if she targets her. She even predicted Anita will quit Telugu Desam just alike her sometime in future.
