Megastar Chiranjeevi is gearing up for another captivating cinematic experience with the upcoming film “Vishwambhara.” Directed by the young and promising Vassishta, this socio-fantasy film promises to weave a unique narrative while drawing comparisons to the iconic “Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari.”
While both films belong to the socio-fantasy genre, their stories are distinct. However, the presence of magic and supernatural elements remains a common thread, creating a battleground between good and evil. In “Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari,” the legendary Amrish Puri delivered a spellbinding performance as the antagonist, a black magician.
In “Vishwambhara,” the mantle of the villain falls upon the talented Rao Ramesh. His portrayal of the evil magician is expected to be a contemporary take on the archetype, contrasting with Amrish Puri’s iconic performance. The character’s intriguing design involves the inability to set foot on land, causing him to perpetually float, adding a unique layer to the narrative.
To bring this fantastical world to life, “Vishwambhara” will reportedly utilize extensive visual effects (VFX). The film further boasts a star-studded cast, featuring Trisha and Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female leads. Actresses like Ashika Ranganath, Surbhi, and Esha Chawla will portray Chiranjeevi’s sisters, adding depth to the story.
The musical maestro Keeravani will compose the soundtrack for “Vishwambhara,” while the renowned production house UV Creations is backing the project. Currently under production in Hyderabad, the film is slated for release on January 10th, 2025, generating significant anticipation among fans eager to witness Chiranjeevi in a captivating new role.
