Ram Gopal Varma has come up with more details about “Lakshmi’s NTR”, a biopic on late NT Rama Rao.
He today met the movie’s producer P Rakesh Reddy at his residence in Palamaneru in Chittor district in Andra Pradesh amidst media frenzy.
The producer is a leader of YSRC party but RGV reiterated that the film is not funded by Andhra Pradesh’s opposition leader YS Jagan.
Talking about the movie further, RGV said: “NTR’s life is like Mahabharatam. It has many chapters. I am just telling one adhyayam when Lakshmi Parvathi had entered in his life with all the honesty and truth.”
When asked who would essay NTR’s role, the maverick director said he will reveal the name very shortly. Buzz is that he is in talks with a Bollywood star for NTR’s character.
“Lakshmi’s NTR” will be commencing its regular shoot from February 2018.
“I will release it in the month of October. Casting process is underway,” he stated.
