Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi has rubbished the reports about Rahul Gandhi’s citizenship which is a major point of discussion now. Campaigning in Amethi for her brother, Priyanka said Rahul Gandhi is Hindustani and he is born and brought up in India.
Priyanka lashed out at BJP for sending notices on citizenship and said that out of fear, BJP is doing vendetta politics. On BJP’s comments that Rahul is going to lose at Amethi and that is why he is contesting from Wayanad, Priyanka replied that there is no second thought that Rahul is winning Amethi and in fact the majority will be higher. Yesterday Ministry of Home Affairs has served notices to Rahul Gandhi based on a complaint by BJP MP Subramanian Swamy. He claimed that Rahul holds British citizenship as well and produced a document as evidence that he is one of the directors of a British company.
