For automobile sector 2020 is expected to be a year of EVs. With the government giving special attention to the sector and taking steps like FAME 2 policy and incentivization, the sector received a major boost last year. Hero Electric Dash
Hero Electric launched its electric scooter – Dash. Dash is powered by a 48v 28 Ah Li-Ion battery with fast-charging of 4 hours and a range of 60 km per charge. Keeping in mind the Indian driving conditions, the Dash is made for India with a high ground clearance of 145mm to tackle any road conditions. The e-scooter comes with LED DRL’s, LED headlights, digital instrument cluster, USB mobile charging port, tubeless tyres, dual tone body colour and graphics, remote boot opening keeping the practicality quotient high.
Okinawa Scooters
Okinawa Scooters recently launched Lite slow speed electric scooter in India. It comes equipped with a detachable lithium-ion battery with an anti-theft battery lock. The brand has especially designed the battery in a way that it gets locked inside thus avoiding any chances of theft which was one of the concerns of consumers. The detachable battery provides charging convenience to riders while anti-theft feature ensures battery safety.

Ampere Vehicles has expanded its product portfolio by launching the new Reo Elite in India. Reo Elite is a trendy looking scooter with a contemporary European design. Keeping the urban millennials in mind, the scooter has a light-weight construction, while being sleek in proportions and well-crafted as a package.
Avan Motors Trend E
Electric scooter manufacturer Avan Motors India launched the all-new Trend E . Trend E is a recent inclusion in the company’s Xero series of electric. Trend E gets alloy wheels. The braking duties are performed by disc and drum brakes on the front and rear wheels, respectively. With a high ground clearance, the new smart electric scooter can carry a maximum load of 150 kgs.
