The Revanth Reddy’s case is in High Court and his lawyer Salman Khurshid who is a supreme court lawyer is fighting for him. He had appealed to the court that in a small case where Revanth Reddy might get a 1 month of jail at the maximum, he was already kept in remand for about 10 days.
Why was he not being given bail even though it is not such a big case, he questioned the High Court.
By the time there will be a next hearing, half of the sentence time will be over. So, he must be granted a bail for the case of illegally utilizing the drones, argued Khurshid in the High Court.
But the Public Prosecutor had argued that Revanth Reddy had done everything that is illegal and used for his political benefit.
The Congress MPs have protested in the Lok Sabha on the injustice that is being done to Revanth Reddy who is also a Congress Lok Sabha MP.
