YS Jagan Mohan Reddy followed KCR’s style and gave every leader in his party a target. Collectively he ordered them to attain 90% of the seats in the local body polls that too unanimously.
This is the strategy adopted by KCR in Telangana to put extra pressure on his leaders after the unexpected loss in LS polls. Now Jagan has no reason to behave the same and he is definitely going to miss that kick which he will experience by thrashing the opposition on the battleground but not off the field.
The YSRCP is the ruling party in the state and the sensational decisions, policies and reforms took by them benefited millions of people in the state.
Yet this decision took by Jagan will be projected as an act of desperation that arose from the insecure feeling by the opposition and already Kanna Lakshmi Narayana made these comments.
The target set by the Jagan to the local leaders resulted in violence across the state and even though they achieved the desired result the people would think that Jagan still doubts his capability after winning more than 50% vote share and 151 seats.
That is very dangerous for the first-time Chief Minister and Jagan would remain as one rowdy-politician in the state and don’t forget that he is going to miss the real kick.
