Andhra Pradesh faced a jolt with the state bifurcation as the state lost the capital city Hyderabad. No matter who is in power, everyone focused on Hyderabad. To see that the development doesn’t restrict to the city alone a new debate on developing Warangal also started. The Telangana government also started giving special focus to the city.
Already healthcare facilities in the historic city are being revamped. As another big boost, the government wants to attract film investments for the city. A Cabinet Minister urged a big personality to come forward to set up a film studio there.
Telangana Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Errabelli Dayakar Rao graced the pre-release event of Virata Parvam which was held at Warangal city. Addressing the crowd, Rao urged Daggubati Rana to think about setting up a studio in the city so that those who want to shoot in the city will get a benefit.
Having requested Daggubati Rana on the film studio row, the Minister also said that the government will support the hero in this regard and all the required help will be provided.
Setting up a studio is a costly affair and running it is another big task. Well, these might appear as tasks for others. But Rana comes from the legendary Daggubati family. His grandfather Gaddubati Ramanaidu set up Ramanaidu studios in Hyderabad. Another studio was set up in the shore city Vizag as well. But the studio in Vizag is not working like the Hyderabad one.
While the state government wants to develop Warangal city, the Minister placed an offer before the star. The ball is in Rana’s court now. Will he take the route of his grandfather and foray into studio business or will he get inspired by his father Suresh Babu is the point here.
Despite having a great legacy, Suresh Babu is restricting himself from making films. The legendary banner Suresh Productions is making films now and then.At the Bheemla Nayak event, Rana spoke highly about the Telangana government for its support for the industry and said that Hyderabad will be the big hub for the industry.
