Will return the lands of Amaravati farmers: YCP minister

AP’s Panchayati Raj & Rural development minister Peddireddi Ramachandra Reddy made sensational statements that the YSRCP government will return the lands of Amaravati farmers. Adding further he said, it was CM Jagan and YSRCP’s election promise that the lands of Amaravati farmers will be given back and all the land acquired will be returned.

The YSRCP minister opined that the governance and development should be decentralized and it will definitely benefit all the places in the state. “If not at three places, the government will pick thirty places as capitals and there is nothing wrong in it. For the capital, there is no need of central government’s approval,” said Peddireddi.

Stating the protesters in Amaravati are TDP people, Peddireddi criticized opposition leader Chandrababu Naidu. “It was Chandrababu who said the assembly is temporary and many other concrete structures are short term. For Assembly and secretariat, 200 acres of land is enough and don’t know why the last TDP government gathered 33,000 acres of land. Most of the farmers did not give their land voluntarily for capital but the previous TDP government threatened and forcefully grabbed it from farmers,” said Peddireddi.

Shortly after Peddireddi statements, Amaravati farmers said they are going through distress over CM Jagan’s comment and with YSRCP minister’s remarks, they are almost dead.
