Will the new cabinet of YS Jagan be sworn in on April 11?

The buzz in the ruling YSRCP is that the cabinet reshuffle would be done on April 11. If all goes well, the new ministers would take oath on April 11. Sources say that the day is auspicious and hence the reshuffle would happen on that day.

If sources are to be believed, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has now focused on the cabinet rejig. He is trying to ensure that the caste and regional equations are addressed and a just combination of the new and the experience is achieved in the cabinet rejig. Sources say that Jagan has too many candidates to choose from and hence he wants to ensure that there are no errors of judgement in stitching up the new council of ministers.

Jagan is also said to be talking to those who would be dropped from the council of ministers. Sources say that he is trying to convince them that they have a better future and that they would be taken back into the government once they win the 2024 elections. He is also planning to give them key party responsibilities.

The YSRCP sources are saying that once the names of those who are in and those who are out is finalised and the dissidence factor is addressed, he would announce the names of the new council of ministers. The swearing in would be taken up on April 11 as it is considered the most auspicious day.
