Telangana first chief minister KCR hadn’t inducted any women into his cabinet in his last tenure. That had kicked up a storm and even became a big weapon for the Opposition parties during the 2018 poll campaign. However, KCR had promised that he would give cabinet berths to women.
Even after he sworn in as the Chief Minister in 2018 polls and returned to power with a thumping majority, KCR had failed to kept his promise as he hadn’t included any women into his cabinet. And it became an advantage for the Opposition parties.
When KCR presented vote-on-account budget in the Assembly Session, opposition leaders in the house have raised the question about women not being inducted into his cabinet, nonetheless KCR clarified that he will soon induct 2 women into his cabinet. Responding to Opposition leaders in Question & Answers session, KCR made aforementioned statement and said he will keep his word.
So, now guessing game begins that who will be the two lucky women who will be inducted into KCR’s cabinet
