Koratala Siva is one of the most sought after directors in Tollywood at present. He was a successful writer initially and proved himself in direction later. Many people take inspiration from him. But Koratala is saying that Rajamouli family is inspiration to him. He said that he wanted to write like Vijayendra, direct like Rajamouli.
While speaking in the audio launch function of ‘Srivalli’, Koratala said that “I am always surprised with Rajamouli family. There will not be any other family who has such passion towards cinema. Prabhas told me that they will not think of any other thing except cinema while we were shooting for ‘Mirchi’. They always think of cinema. So I like them. I wanted to be like them. But I couldn’t. Vijayendra Prasad is an inspiration to all of us.
We got inspired from him at the time of Bobbili Simham. Usually writers lose their pace when they become older. But Vijayendra is not like that. He is still writing wonderful stories and giving inspiration to us. I wanted to write huge stories just like him. Similarly I wanted to make film like Rajamouli in the huge canvas. I wish Vijayendra Prasad will pose a challenge to his son as a director”.
