It was recently announced that Megastar Chiranjeevi will once again join the director VV Vinayak for the Telugu remake of the Malayalam blockbuster Lucifer. The actor will start shooting for the film after he wraps up the schedule for Koratala Siva’s Acharya. Now, we have been told that Vinayak’s close friend and aid Akula Siva has been roped in to pen the dialogues for Lucifer.
Ever since Ram Charan bought the remake rights of Mohanlal starrer Lucifer, fans have been speculating if Chiranjeevi will essay the lead role. The Indra actor was supposed to work with Saaho director Sujeeth on the remake but due to creative difference, Vinayak was roped in as the director. The duo will collaborate for the third time on Lucifer. VV Vinayak has directed Chiranjeevi in two blockbusters – Tagore, a remake of Ramana in 2003, and Khaidi No 150 that was also touted as his comeback film in 2017. Since the last two films were blockbusters, expectations are high with this film as well.
