The TDP government took a very humanitarian step when they introduced Anna Canteens, that provided food to people at low rates. This food fed a lot of people on a daily basis, crores of people were well fed with the help of these canteens.
However, the YSRCP government has now shut down all these canteens, by feeding the NHRC with wrong information about them. TDP member Yanamala Ramakrishnudu criticized the YSRCP government for being responsible for the closing down of these canteens, just because all of the credit has been going to Chandrababu Naidu.
Yanamala also said that these canteens are not self-funding and require the state government to function properly. Elaborating on this, Yanamala said that any organization or company requires a person at the centre of it to run the entire thing and to take the most important decisions, like a pilot. He said that the YSRCP also had a pilot in the form of Jagan, but that it did not have any co-pilot. Yanamala added that any decision taken and executed by the YSRCP has to go through Jagan, which meant that the closing of these canteens also went through him.
Yanamala said that Jagan made sure that these canteens were closed down just because he couldn’t stand Chandrababu being praised for it. Yanamala added that the YSRCP is running a dictatorial government, where all the decisions are taken by just one person, irrespective of its consequences to others around him.
Yanama also addressed the attack made on Dalit Judge Ramakrishna, and siad that there has been no security to Dalits, BCs, SCs, STs and other minority communities during the ruling of YSRCP. He said that Chittoor MLA is behind this attack, and that this attack personified an attack on the Judicial system itself.
Yanamala also spoke about the Sand mafia of YSRCP, and why they had established it in the first place. He said that this mafia was established and was given an official recognition so that all the unemployed members of the YSRCP would have a means of income, and that none of this was a favor to the people in any way.
Talking about the houses that were constructed for the poor, but haven’t still been given to them, Yanamala said that the YSRCP is behaving in a very reckless way and doesn’t seem serious about handing over these houses to the poor. He added that the government needs to hand them over to their rightful owners as soon as possible, now that the HIgh Court has also issued orders of the same.
