Janasena party political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar alleged that the Vaikapa government has once again cheated the people by giving permission to a private company for sand excavation in the name of a new sand policy in AP.
Speaking to reporters at Varam, Rajahmundry in East Godavari district, he said, “There are many doubts in the tender process which is divided into three parts. How was JP Power selected? How was the tender process completed? The government should immediately issue a white paper on the issue. It is outrageous to supply sand to Jayaprakash Power Ventures through three packages in the name of a central government agency. This is strongly condemned by our party. As soon as the YCP government came to power, the sand supply was banned and millions of construction workers lost their livelihood” said Manohar.
