YCP MP Raju garu getting closer to BJP

Rajya Sabha MP Sujana Chowdary’s comments have already created a huge flutter as he had stated that several YCP MPs and MLAs are in touch with BJP. YCP leaders and MPs have openly condemned Sujana’s statement. In this backdrop, YCP MPs have been asked to stay away from BJP leaders.

Yet, YCP MP from Narsapuram Raghu Rama Krishna Raju has been spotted in BJP’s parliamentary office for over 30 minutes. This has added fuel to the ongoing speculations of growing bonhomie between YCP MPs and BJP leadership.

However, Raghu Rama Krishna has quashed rumours and clarified that he has gone to the BJP parliamentary office on a purpose. He said he has visited the office to meet House Committee Chairman CR Patil. He said he learnt about House Committee Chairman was going to BJP parliamentary office and he had gone to meet him personally to request for allotment of his house in New Delhi.

Raghu Rama Krishna was not allotted a big house in capital city. Since he is the Chairman of Legislative Committee In Parliament, Raju is expecting to be allotted a big house for himself in Delhi. He asked media to not mislead and speculate.

He said having contacts with BJP leadership doesn’t mean he is shifting party. Raju clarified that he has good relation with CM Jagan and his own party YCP. He said media is cooking up unwanted controversy over his visit to BJP’s office in parliament.

Talking about spending about 30 minutes in the office, Raju said he was chit chatting with BJP parliamentary party office secretary Balasubrahmanyam Kamarsu who is a Telugu man. Raghu Rama Raju went onto recall his relation with PM Modi even before Modi became Prime Minister. He said he could get PM’s appointment and meet him directly. Raju said he could meet Home Minister and BJP President Amit Shah as well. He said there is nothing wrong in having contacts for MPs.

Despite his lengthy clarification, Raju’s presence at BJP parliamentary party office is creating a lot of rumours. Recently, Raju’s comments in Parliament supporting Telugu language came in huge contrast with CM Jagan making English medium mandatory in government schools. Raju has met Jagan and clarified on his comments. Yet, Jagan was not very happy with Raju’s comments in Parliament. Amidst this, Raju being spotted at BJP parliamentary office is something which doesn’t go well with CM Jagan.

On the other hand, BJP AP unit is targeting CM Jagan on various counts including religious aspects. YCP leaders painting Lord Garuda temple in Nellore district have drawn huge criticism from BJP state leaders. While there is a verbal war between YCP and BJP in AP, Raju’s growing friendship with BJP’s top leadership is something CM Jagan won’t welcome. Let’s wait and see, what is in store for Raju.
