New things are coming into the limelight in the case of former Karnataka minister Ramesh Jarkiholi. Recently, the girl’s father, who appeared in the CD, had lodged a complaint with the Belgaum police alleging that his daughter had been kidnapped. The police registered the case.
“As soon as the video appeared on TV, I phoned her. But she told me that she was not the girl in that video, it was a fake video. She said that she has done nothing wrong. When I asked her to come home, she refused. She said that her life was in danger and could not come home now. She also asked us not to contact her. Her phone has been switched off since then.” Said the girl’s father. The girl’s father had alleged that his daughter was abducted from the hostel in Bangalore before March 2.
It is learned that the young woman in a video asked the police to provide protection. On the other hand, the SIT team has issued notices to the girl.
