According to party sources, YSRCP president YS Jaganmohan Reddy is trying to forge the alliance with the BJP so that the party can benefit in 2019 elections. Jagan wants to take advantage of people’s opposition against the TDP and Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s charisma. The close associates of Jagan say that the ED and CBI will go slow on cases once he enters an understanding with the BJP. Jagan sought an appointment with Narendra Modi but he could not get as he was busy with the visit of Bangladesh Prime Minister. He is likely to get an appointment with the PM next week.
