AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s sister, daughter of the late YS Rajasekhar Reddy, YS Sharmila has finalised the flag for the YSR Telangana party, which is to be launched on July 8.
The party flag has two major colours – 80 percent of the flag is filled with Blue Jay (Pala Pitta in Telugu) and the rest of 20% is coloured with blue. In the middle of the flag, we can see the map of the Telangana state along with the picture of her father YSR.
On the other hand, Sharmila’s followers went to (TRS) Telangana Bhavan, (Congress) Gandhi Bhavan and BJP state offices and invited them to the party launch event. The rest of the parties will be sent an invitation on Tuesday. Sharmila has already hired a strategist for her party. Priya, a key player in Prashant Kishor’s team has been roped to assist Sharmila in elections.
As Sharmila’s party will get an official announcement on YSR Jayanti, her followers went to Delhi on Monday to meet Central Election Commission officials over clarifications on the party’s name. Her followers said that since no one objected to the YSRTP name, EC is likely to announce the name itself.
